At Active Physical Therapy, we’re excited to introduce Words in Bloom — a brand-new Mommy & Me Summer Workshop Series designed to help young children build speech and language skills in a warm, playful, and supportive environment.
This engaging program is led by our licensed pediatric speech-language pathologists and specially crafted for toddlers and preschoolers ages 1 to 3 years — with a parent or caregiver by their side every step of the way.

Our programs are designed for small groups with 8 children per class
This program is ideal for children ages 1-3 that could use help
finding their voice and improving their language skills
What to Expect
Each weekly workshop is built around fun, movement, and meaningful connection — blending evidence-based speech strategies with music, play, and themed activities. You and your child will:

Who is Right For This Workshop?
Words in Bloom is ideal for toddlers and preschoolers who are:
Between 1-3 years old
Saying only a few words or not yet combining words
Hard to understand compared to other children their age
Struggling with expressing wants or needs
Experiencing frustration during communication
Late talkers or have mild expressive/receptive delays
Already receiving speech therapy and would benefit from extra practice in a social setting
Children with no formal diagnosis but whose parents want to support language growth in a fun, structured way
